ADF Welcomes Alex Heinrich To The Team

We’re excited to welcome Alex Heinrich to the ADF Engineering team!

Alex graduated from Cedarville University in May of 2025 with a BS in Civil Engineering. When Alex realized he had a special interest in Structural Engineering, Alex began to concentrate his academic studies in related areas including Structural Analysis, Design of Steel Structures, Reinforced Concrete Design, and the Design of Wood Structures.

Alex looked ahead and continued to pursue his chosen field by interviewing with prospective employers in the Winter of 2024. He wanted to ensure he had a professional engineering position that would satisfy his desire to become an expert in Structural Engineering and would also meet his personal standards for a great place to work. Accordingly, Alex began interviewing with ADF in January of 2025 and accepted ADF’s offer in early February, 2025.

Having found the position he wanted, Alex moved ahead with his next big life event by marrying in June of this year. As if a new job and a new spouse were not enough significant changes, Alex relocated from Miamisburg where his family lives to Xenia where both he and his wife have many social connections.

Alex has taken leadership roles throughout his adult life including being a camp counselor, acting as a Freshman Integrator, involvement in a mentorship program at Cedarville University, and taking on his current role as Youth Group Leader. In addition to his leadership roles and professional pursuits, Alex also enjoys soccer, woodworking, hiking, and cooking to balance out his broader interests.
ADF looks forward to Alex’s contribution to its Leadership Development Group, expanding his knowledge of Structural Engineering, and having a positive influence on company culture.

We also want to thank Alex for offering to staff a recruitment/information booth on behalf of ADF at a recruitment fair at his alma mater this coming October. It is an established fact that alumni are the most effective recruiting resource because they have credibility and can easily relate to their peers. We appreciate Alex taking the initiative to make this suggestion. Moreover, our presence at the recruiting fair will increase public awareness of ADF which will enhance our long-term recruitment efforts.
